Most of us want to look and feel good, there’s nothing wrong with that. At a deeper level though, we believe looking and feeling good, and even health, are a means to pursuing purpose. As humans, we have a spiritual hunger for love, generosity, and community that transcend the basic needs for food and shelter.
Interestingly, a number of recent studies indicate that having a sense of purpose actually improves health outcomes. Thus identifying and pursuing your purpose(s) or what makes you come alive can create a positive feedback loop:
Identifying purpose -> Healthier living -> More energy and ability to pursue your purpose.
One of our primary goals at CREUS is to empower people to identify and pursue their purpose. We want to transform the health industry from one that focuses on body image to one that focuses on obtaining good health as a means to living for the things that matter most.
